Univision announced the US premiere of the first Turkish romantic comedy. Pájaro soñador will debut on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:00 p.m. on UniMás.
Distributed internationally by Global Agency, Daydreamer (Erkenci Kus in Turkish) tells the funny story of an unexpected love between a charming young woman and an adventurous photographer.
The series stars Can Yaman, one of the most popular Turkish actors globally, and Demet Özdemir.
The cast also includes other renowned actors, such as Sevcan Yasar and Birand Tunca, who developed characters that became very popular in Turkey.
Daydreamer was produced by Gold Film and aired in Turkey on Star TV.
The romantic comedy tells the story of Sanem (Demet Özdemir), a young woman with aspirations to become a writer, who is forced by her parents to choose between an arranged marriage and finding a suitable job. Looking for a new job at an advertising company, she soon falls in love with her boss, Can (Can Yaman). As romance blooms, they embark on an adventure that will transform their lives and those of those around them.
