The distributor had a prominent presence at the current edition of Content Americas, where it announced further sales for its drama I Am Mother and presented Behind the Veil. Following its sale to Albavision and with a neutral Spanish dub, Behind the Veil is expected to reach more screens in the region.

This January, international distributor Eccho Rights announced a significant pan-regional agreement in Latin America for the hit Turkish series Behind the Veil (Gelin) with leading media group Albavision.
The agreement covers five territories in the region -Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador- and establishes the Turkish drama’s first broad presence in multiple Latin American markets.
Boosted by this sale and with the added benefit of being dubbed into Spanish, Eccho Rights traveled to Miami with the goal of presenting Behind the Veil at Content Americas and expanding its reach to more destinations in Latin America.
“We are presenting Behind the Veil for the first time with a neutral Spanish dub,” Barbora Suster, Sales Director for Latin America at Eccho Rights, told ttvnews.
“It’s a daily telenovela that has been airing for three seasons in Turkey and continues to be the most-watched telenovela in recent years. It has been sold to Albavision channels for some of their territories, and thanks to that, starting in February, we will have the neutral Spanish dub available,” the executive explained.
“We hope that with this asset, we can close deals in other territories. That’s where our focus is,” she added.
Produced by Film Yapım Merkezi for Kanal 7, Behind the Veil is one of the most successful Turkish series of recent years and holds the audience record as the most-watched daily series ever produced in Turkey.
The series combines classic melodrama with contemporary themes of love, loyalty, and family conflicts, driven by a powerful central romance that has proven its ability to connect with a massive audience.
From Miami, Eccho Rights is also celebrating the recent sales of I Am Mother, “a very powerful title, which has already been sold in most Latin American territories,” the executive stated.
“We recently added Brazil, a very important territory, where it will premiere on Record this year,” she revealed. “We also added Venezuela, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic, which are the latest sales from the last few months.”
Produced by O3 Medya and originally commissioned by Show TV in Turkey, I Am Mother has proven to be one of the most popular Turkish dramas of recent years, connecting with audiences thanks to its powerful exploration of motherhood, loss, and resilience.
The series stars Özge Özpirinçci, Demet Akbağ, Metin Akdülger, Engin Öztürk, and Nesrin Cavadzade, and concluded in March 2025 after two successful seasons on Show TV.
I Am Mother follows Karsu, a woman trapped in an unhappy and abusive marriage, whose life is shattered when her young son disappears during a trip to Istanbul. Years later, a chance encounter offers hope of reunion, but forces Karsu to confront the emotional toll of the past and the true meaning of motherhood as she fights to win back her family.
