We also closed agreements with strategic players such as SIC in Portugal, which will adapt Páginas de la Vida. Our Globoplay Original, The Others, will be adapted in the US. And Todas las Flores will be adapted in Greece,” revealed Ángela Colla.
Along these lines, Medeiros highlighted the importance of international production for the Brazilian giant: “It’s a great period for international stories. We have to take advantage of this moment, and our originals have been very successful over the last five years,” he explained.
The executive also highlighted the production of several films in Brazil, which are being co-produced and will share their streaming window; an agreement with Beta Film and Janeiro Studios, with whom they will produce three programs and are currently seeking buyers; an agreement with Fremantle and Mixer for the production of a new show; and a partnership with Gaumont for the production of a haute couture show.
