ITV Studios’ critically acclaimed dating format My Mum, Your Dad is set to premiere on Portuguese network SIC this Sunday, October 26.
Locally produced by Shine Iberia Portugal, My Mum, Your Dad is filled with heart, humor and surprises.
This unique dating show brings together single parents with plenty of life experience and college-aged kids of their own, as they search for love in a luxurious mansion.
Unbeknownst to the parents, their kids are secretly watching and taking on challenges to earn the right to intervene. Will they let love blossom naturally, or will they step in? In this show, it’s the kids who play the game of love – but will their parents play along?
The news follows the early October announcement that My Mum, Your Dad has been renewed for a second season in Brazil by Globoplay, after a successful first run.
Originally created by Greg and Haley Daniels and produced by ITV Entertainment and Robola Entertainment for HBO Max in the US, the format has also been adapted in the UK (ITV), Australia (Nine Network), Belgium (RTL-TVI), Germany (Vox), France (TF1), French Canada (TVA), New Zealand (TV3), Poland (Polsat) and Sweden (TV4).
My Mum, Your Dad has captured hearts wherever it airs. The UK version became ITV1’s biggest new prime-time entertainment launch in 2023 and the second most streamed show that month on ITVX, while the French-Canadian version achieved the highest audience share in its time slot.
