Record TV has ordered new episodes of Keshet International’s hidden camera game show, which has also signed new sales in Italy, Portugal and Slovenia.

Global content producer and distributor, Keshet International (KI), announced a raft of new sales and re-orders for its laugh-out-loud hidden camera gameshow, Deal With It! ahead of Mipcom 2019.

For starters, Record has ordered six additional episodes to the fourth series of 20 x 50’ original shows in Brazil. Produced by Record TV Networks, the series is known locally as Faça e Disfarça (Do It, And Don’t Get Caught) and broadcasts as a segment within the popular Programa da Sabina.

In addition, KI has licensed the format – originally devised by United Studios of Israel with Keshet Broadcasting – for the first time to Planet TV in Slovenia and to Magnolia in Italy, Italian-speaking Switzerland, Italian-speaking Monaco and Malta.

Currently premiering in Slovenia, the 22x 25’ series known locally as Znajdi Se! is produced by Supermarket Productions for Antenna TV’s free to air commercial channel, Planet TV.

While in Italy, Magnolia is producing 45×45’ episodes for the Discovery-owned general entertainment channel, Nove. Known locally as Deal with It: Stai al Gioco, the series will premiere weeknights at 8.30pm from Monday 14 October.

KI has also secured a number of re-orders for this globally appealing format, including a second season with Kanal 2 in Estonia. The follow-up run of 10 episodes is slated to premiere in early 2020, after a hiatus of six years.

Meanwhile, KI has also sold the finished tape of all three series of US version of Deal With It! (28 x 22’) originally produced by TBS USA with Lionsgate to SIC in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde.

In Deal With It!, ordinary people meeting someone for a coffee or a meal, or checking into a hotel, are asked to participate in a game for a chance to win a cash prize. All they have to do is… exactly what they’re told. It could be weird, funny, or crazy, but they mustn’t lose their cool or quit, and – most importantly – they mustn’t be found out by the person they’re with.

As the contestant stumbles through the stressful situation, our comic hosts in the control room provide hilarious commentary. Players could find themselves quoting Shakespeare, dancing and singing on the table, even kissing total strangers…But if they want to win a prize, they’ll just have to Deal With It!.

Based on the format by Keshet Broadcasting and United Studios of Israel, Deal With It! is one of KI’s most successful formats, having been sold into 22 territories to date – including Germany (ZDF NEO), Canada (W Network and Vrak), Spain (TEN), Mexico (Televisa), as well as Romania (Kanal D), Czech Republic (Prima TV) and the US (TBS), where it ran to three series in all three territories.
