In addition to the name change, LaLiga+ will incorporate new international football content and will maintain the most important content it already had

LaLiga has initiated a change of era this season thanks to its strategic partner for the next five seasons, Electronic Arts Inc.

In addition to the change of brand, audiovisual innovations and the new nomenclatures of the competitions, the LaLiga OTT is also evolving with this new era: its name throughout the world, including Thailand and Indonesia, will be LaLiga+, and it will incorporate improvements in its usability, design and contents.

LaLiga+ is now available to all its users in Spain and globally.

LaLiga+ incorporates the look and feel of the new brand, a better user experience and more customization options, as well as new packages and content for its subscribers.

Regarding content, LaLiga+ maintains and renews the agreement with two of the most important leagues for OTT: LEB Oro for basketball and Liga Plenitude ASOBAL for handball. All the matches of the two competitions will be broadcast in full.

It will also feature specific international soccer content: with the Brazilian first division, Brasileirao; Concacaf Gold Cup and AFC Champions League, in addition to other content yet to be revealed.

As for volleyball, LaLiga+ will broadcast the best volleyball in the world, bringing together the Volleyball European Championship and Champions League, the Beach Volleyball European Championship and Nations Cup, the Nations League, the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments and the Championships world.

There will be special content for clubs: all LaLiga EA SPORTS and LaLiga Hypermotion clubs that so wish will have their own space on the OTT with summaries, reports, interviews and more exclusive content, as well as live training sessions or grassroots football. For now, UD Las Palmas, CD Tenerife and SD Huesca will already have their own personalized space.
