Colombian productions Yo me llamo and Tu voz estéreo stand out among the most demanded in the country, according to Parrot Analytics’ new ranking, which also features titles from Argentina and Mexico.
Same as in most countries in Latin America, the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian, leads the list of most demanded series in Colombia. Analyzing the demand from february 3rd to the 9th, Parrot Analytics ranked the Star Wars series as the most demanded both in the digital and linear fronts, with 3,128,964 Average Demand Expressions (ADE).
However, the general ranking left plenty of room for Latin productions, with four titles making the cut. So, while the second place was taken by Game of Thrones (2,667,883 ADE), the podium is completed by Mexican telenovela, La Rosa de Guadalupe with 2,531,231 ADE.
In addition, in fifth and seventh place stand two local productions by Caracol Televisión: Yo me llamo (2,305,919 ADE), the Colombian adaptation of the Endemol Shine format, My Name Is; and the family drama Tu Voz Estéreo (2,206,400 ADE).
In the middle, in sixth place, ranks Argentine animated series, El payaso Plim Plim: un heroe del corazón, with 2,303,534 ADE.
The general ranking is completed by Peppa Pig in fourth place with 2,334,313 ADE, Talking Tom and Friends in eighth with 2,181,002 ADE, Dragon Ball Z in ninth with 2,177,301 ADE, and Vikings in tenth with 2,140,120 ADE.
On the digital side, the ranking -also led by the Disney + series-, distributed its top 4 among different platforms, with Titans by DC Universe in second place (2,029,183 ADE), The Witcher by Netflix in third place (1,571,958 ADE) and Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale in fourth (1,207,336 ADE).
The next five positions are dominated entirely by Netflix, with BoJack Horseman in fifth place (1,044,205 ADE), Sex Education in sixth (1,025,380 ADE), Stranger Things in seventh (939,800 ADE), Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in eighth ( 903,337 ADE) and Narcos in ninth (657,064) standing out as the only Hispanic series in the digital list.
The ranking of the most demanded digital series in Colombia is closed by the Amazon Prime Video super hero series, The Boys, with 570,836 ADE.
