The platform will launch the series in Spain on Thursday, December 4.

Mediterráneo Mediaset España Group has reached an agreement with Disney+ for La Agencia to become part of its content offering in Spain.

The first seven episodes will be available on the platform on Thursday, December 4, with the remaining six set to premiere in January.

This partnership strengthens Mediterráneo’s strategy of expanding the multi-platform exploitation of its fiction catalogue.

Starring Javier Gutiérrez, Marta Hazas, Manuela Velasco, Carlos Bardem, Fiorella Faltoyano, Andrés Velencoso and Goya Toledo —together with Denisse Peña, Iñaki Mur, Carlos Alcaide, Olalla Hernández, Juan Gea and Irene Rojo— La Agencia delivers a vibrant and emotionally rich portrait of the entertainment industry through the eyes of those who work behind the scenes: talent agents. To bring authenticity and sparkle to this fascinating universe, each episode features a high-profile guest star playing themselves in a self-contained storyline.

The roster includes Belén Rueda, Jaime Lorente, Rubén Cortada, Hiba Abouk, Petra Martínez, Belén Écija, Jose Coronado, Toni Acosta, Clara Lago, Luis Zahera, Sara Sálamo, Sílvia Abril and Ernesto Sevilla.

La Agencia is the Spanish adaptation of the international hit Call My Agent!, winner of an International Emmy Award.

The series is produced by Good Mood (Mediawan) for Mediaset España, with Daniel Écija, Ghislain Barrois and Carmen Agraz as executive producers; Víctor Pedreira as head writer; and David Molina Encinas leading the directing team.

Synopsis

Set inside Rebecca Talent, one of the country’s most prominent talent agencies, the series follows four agents—Gabi (Javier Gutiérrez), Andrea (Manuela Velasco), Matías (Carlos Bardem) and Maribel (Fiorella Faltoyano)—along with their assistants and the artists who pass through their offices each day.

Together they form a unique, competitive and tension-filled ecosystem that is increasingly difficult to reconcile with their own complex personal and family lives. At the start of the story, Gabi and Andrea have been married for several years when a moment of weakness triggers a crisis that blows their marriage apart. With the relationship on hold—or perhaps over for good—Gabi must learn to rebuild his life.

The reappearance of Valeria (Marta Hazas), a former friend and now a rival agent, only complicates matters. Andrés Velencoso and Goya Toledo round out the central cast as Asier Rojas, the ambitious director of the competing agency, and Victoria Solá, Gabi’s sister and Matías’s wife.
