The event will take place on November 19 at Moon Palace Resort, featuring a live musical performance by Magic Juan, former member of Proyecto Uno.
MIP Cancun has announced the inaugural MIP Cancun Gala, a new celebration of Latin America’s entertainment industry organized in partnership with Estudios RCN and MegaLive as part of the 2026 edition of the market.
The Gala will take place on Thursday, November 19, at 9:00 p.m. at Moon Palace Resort in Cancún, Mexico. It will be open to all registered MIP Cancun attendees. The market runs from November 17 to 20.
As part of the collaboration, Estudios RCN will contribute to the event’s programme with a live performance by Magic Juan, former member of the group Proyecto Uno, featuring some of his best-known songs.
The initiative aims to bring together executives and decision-makers from across Latin America’s entertainment industry for an evening of entertainment and networking. Attendees will include buyers, producers, distributors, broadcasters, streaming platforms, studios, agencies, brands and representatives of the creator economy.

Andrea Silva, Director of MegaLive, said the partnership aims to combine live entertainment with the professional connections that drive the industry forward. Rodrigo Romero-Hoyos, Head of Marketing at Estudios RCN, described the initiative as part of the company’s commitment to exploring new experiences and formats in entertainment.
