South International Series Festival, holding its third edition in Cádiz from September 12 to 17, adds two final productions to its official program: Atomic and Nails.

Both arrive at the series showcase organized by Womack Group under the SkyShowtime label.

In addition to these two premieres (Spanish and world, respectively), the organization has announced that tickets for all screenings will go on sale on Tuesday, September 2, via the festival’s website, and starting September 11 at the physical box office of Teatro del Títere.

SkyShowtime lands at South for the very first time with two titles, one of them being Atomic, which will have its exclusive Spanish premiere at the festival. This action-adventure comedy follows a drug trafficker and a tormented man who find themselves entangled in a chaotic, high-stakes mission, transporting uranium while being pursued by both the CIA and MI6.

The other is Nails, a world premiere at South, which presents a fresh and feminist take in the form of a dramedy. Created, writer and directed by Araceli Álvarez de Sotomayor and produced by Federation Spain in association with SkyShowtime and Telemundo Studios, it follows the story of four women who, after meeting in a nail salon, develop an unlikely friendship. Together, they become accomplices and decide to rebel against their reality, unleashing an emotional tsunami within their families. The series will be presented in Cádiz with the attendance of its creator, director, and screenwriter, Araceli Álvarez de Sotomayor, along with part of the cast, including Marimar Vega, Gracia Olayo, Teresa Cuesta, and Fernando Tejero.

This final program announcement coincides with the opening of ticket sales for all events of this edition, which will begin on Tuesday, September 2, through the festival website. Ticket prices and venues are as follows:

At the Gran Teatro Falla, tickets will cost €6 for the Opening Gala, €2 for Fiction screenings, while the Avances and the Aída Revival sessions will be free. The opening ceremony, whose tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, September 9, will be hosted by María Gómez and performances by well-known musical artists, officially kicking off the festival. At Teatro del Títere – La Tía Norica, symbolic prices will apply: €1 for Non-Fiction, €1 for the SUR section, and €1 for Spotlight, ensuring public access to the wide range of content offered by the festival. Free admission will be granted to unemployed individuals and students (except for the Opening Gala), exclusively at the festival’s physical box office upon presentation of valid documentation.

The festival’s physical box office will be located at Teatro del Títere “La Tía Norica” (C/ San Miguel, 15, Cádiz), and will be open from September 11 to 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
