Paramount Global Content Distribution today announced two new format deals in Latin America, with Globo adapting the hit game show The Perfect Line in Brazil, and TelevisaUnivision bringing Hollywood Squares to audiences in Mexico and the U.S. Hispanic market.

The deal marks the first international adaptation of The Perfect Line, which launched in the U.S. in 2025 in syndication and on GSN.

In Brazil, Globo will produce a weekly adaptation of The Perfect Line, titled Na Ordem Certa!

The series will air as a segment of Caldeirão com Mion, Globo’s popular Saturday afternoon entertainment show hosted by Marcos Mion.

The format puts a fresh, fast-paced spin on game night, challenging contestants to place a selection of items, events or facts in the correct order. Each round tests everyday knowledge and instincts, from the number of seasons a sitcom has been on the air to the most-ordered items at fast-food restaurants.

For Mexico and the U.S. Hispanic market, TelevisaUnivision has licensed Hollywood Squares which will air locally as Estrellas al Cubo.

The 50-episode series will air across TelevisaUnivision’s linear channels Las Estrellas in Mexico and UniMás in the U.S., with episodes also available on ViX.

This is the fourth Latin American adaptation of Hollywood Squares, following local versions in Brazil, Peru and Argentina, and its first for the U.S. Hispanic market.

Since originating in the U.S. in the 1960s, the format has traveled to more than 30 countries and inspired numerous local adaptations and revivals.

“Broadcasters across Latin America are investing in proven formats they can make their own, and there are no stronger partners in the region than Globo and TelevisaUnivision. Hollywood Squares pairs a universally recognizable game with a celebrity engine every market can build around local talent, while The Perfect Line’s streamlined production model is built for volume. Landing its first international sale within a year of its U.S. launch tells you how far this format will travel,” said Laura Burrell, Head of International Formats, Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The most recent seasons of Hollywood Squares aired on the CBS Television Network in the U.S. and The Perfect Line from CBS Media Ventures airs in syndication in the U.S.

ViX presents a fictional story inspired by journalistic investigation into real events behind one of Latin America’s most important youth music phenomenon. Timbiriche looks back on the story of a group that transcended music to become part of the collective memory of generations.

As a prelude to its ViX premiere, audiences in Mexico will be able to watch the first episode on Thursday, October 8, on las estrellas, following the late night newscast.

On Friday, October 9, the story arrives on ViX with its first two episodes, with a new episode premiering every Friday at 7:00 p.m. Mexico City time, 9 PM ET / 8 PM CT exclusively on the platform.

Long before social media, there was a phenomenon capable of filling venues, sparking euphoria wherever it went, and turning a group of teenagers into idols for millions. Onstage, they were the dream of an entire generation; behind the scenes, they were young people learning to grow up under the spotlight, navigating friendships, rivalries, ambitions, pressure and decisions that would shape their lives forever.

A fictionized story inspired by real events, Timbiriche tells the story of the birth of a musical group that revolutionized the Spanish-language pop scene. The series follows its protagonists from their first rehearsals and auditions to the moment when success carried them to conquer stages, magazine covers and audiences across the country, while they discover that fame comes at a price.

As the phenomenon grows, so do the rules of the game. Friendships are put to the test, rivalries emerge, new members change the group’s dynamics, and the demands of an increasingly intense industry begin to shape their path. Between the first applause and the decisions that will define their future, each episode reveals the human side of those who grew up before millions of viewers.

With an remarkable recreation of the 1980s and a large-scale production, Timbiriche offers an intimate, emotional look at the dreams, sacrifices, bonds and conflicts behind a phenomenon that transcended the stage and became part of popular culture.

Because before they became a phenomenon, they were young people chasing a dream.

The cast of Timbiriche includes Macarena García, Sebastián Poza, Luis de la Rosa, Jesusa Ochoa, Iker Solano, Michelle Pellicer, Edu Maruri, Clara Dalmao, Sol Wainer and Andrea Chaparro, as well as Osvaldo Benavides and Alberto Guerra.

The series is produced by EL ESTUDIO, with Pablo Cruz and Juana García Blaya serving as producers and Beto Hinojosa as director. Together, they lead the creative team bringing this fictional story, inspired by one of the most iconic groups in Spanish-language pop, to the screen.

Discovery, SBS and Bell Media ahead of its Mipcom 2026 launch.

Cineflix Rights has acquired the international rights to Senna: The Last Race, a three-part premium limited series co-produced by Canadian production companies C3 Media and Yap Films.

The project has already secured pre-sales to Warner Bros. Discovery for Latin America, SBS for Australia and Bell Media for Canada, with the deals closed ahead of its official presentation at Mipcom 2026.

Senna: The Last Race examines the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Brazilian Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna, who died in 1994 during the San Marino Grand Prix while at the height of his career.

The series reconstructs the investigation that followed the crash and explores the questions that emerged about its causes and the safety conditions in motorsport at the time.

Drawing on access to investigators, friends and eyewitnesses, the production combines first-hand testimony, technical analysis and personal accounts to revisit the events of that fateful weekend and their aftermath.

Beyond the circumstances of the crash, the series examines Senna’s impact on the sport and his legacy. His death prompted significant safety reforms in Formula 1, while his status as one of the most influential figures in motorsport continues decades after his final race.

“Ayrton Senna was a global icon whose life and tragic death touched millions of people around the world, both motorsports fans and the wider public. We anticipate significant interest from international buyers in this premium limited series from two award-winning production companies with extensive experience in the documentary genre,” said Richard Life, SVP Acquisitions and Co-productions at Cineflix Rights.

“That’s why we backed Senna: The Last Race from the start. We are very pleased to have secured pre-sales with Warner Bros. Discovery in Latin America, SBS and Bell Media ahead of its launch at MIPCOM,” he added.

The addition of Senna: The Last Race expands Cineflix Rights’ documentary offering ahead of MIPCOM 2026, reinforcing its focus on premium factual content with international appeal.

Edye, the HITN Media children’s streaming platform, is bringing Rockolandia: Las Cabritas to its lineup this summer, giving young audiences and families the chance to enjoy the Puerto Rican animated musical series in Spanish. Through adventures, songs and playful challenges, the show invites children to move, imagine, express themselves and learn alongside las Cabritas.

Rockolandia: Las Cabritas is a natural fit for Edye, a platform built on active participation between caregivers and kids — exactly the spirit that drives Rockolandia’s blend of music, movement and storytelling. The series also reflects Edye’s broader commitment to showcasing Hispanic talent and authentic cultural voices, giving Puerto Rican creators, musicians and performers a stage to reach families across the U.S. and Latin America.

For Edye, welcoming las Cabritas isn’t just adding a title to the lineup — it’s an extension of the platform’s mission to celebrate the richness and diversity of Hispanic culture through content children can see themselves in. Created and produced by Dakiti Productions in Puerto Rico, Rockolandia: Las Cabritas follows seven spirited Cabritas — seven little goats who discover the world through music, movement, humor and play — while outwitting the scheming El Lobo Feroz.

Aimed at children and family, the series encourages active participation, stronger together, emotional expression and early learning through original songs and storytelling. Every episode is written, performed and scored in Spanish first, and made in Puerto Rico by Puerto Rican talent. Since its launch, Rockolandia: Las Cabritas has won four Emmy Awards and surpassed 160 million views on YouTube — growth achieved organically, since KaizenPop came on board as shareholder of Dakiti Productions in February 2026.

“We are thrilled that Rockolandia: Las Cabritas is coming to Edye,” said Erika Vogt-Lowell, VP of Content at HITN Media. “This series was created to bring families together through music, laughter and stories that children can see themselves in. Edye is an ideal home for las Cabritas, and we can’t wait for more families to sing, dance and rock along with them.”

1 of 3 The series grew out of creator Cristina Carrión’s decision to revive and reinvent the 1980s children’s musical her father, renowned Puerto Rican composer Alberto Carrión, originally created along with his mother and sister— bringing the show she loved as a child to a new generation. Alberto Carrión composes and produces the music for the series, while Cristina Carrión directs and serves as head writer and showrunner.

“I grew up with the 1980’s show and the songs that my father wrote for my generation,” said Cristina Carrión, Creator, Showrunner and Director of Rockolandia: Las Cabritas and co-founder of Dakiti Productions. “Bringing Rockolandia back as a series was a way of handing my childhood to a new generation — in Spanish, made in Puerto Rico, with every bit of its rhythm and sazón intact. Edye reaches exactly the families we made this for.”

Ailing Zubizarreta, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of KaizenPop, says: “Its humor, its music, the way las Cabritas solve and triumph from everything together — all of it is Puerto Rican to the core, and that is precisely why families everywhere respond to it. What KaizenPop does is growing that DNA without ever sanding it down.”

Edye is part of HITN Media, the leading Spanish-language public media network in the United States. As HITN’s premium preschool platform, Edye offers a safe, ad-free and algorithm-free space for children to learn and grow. Spanning SVOD, linear pay-TV through Edye-TV, broadcast blocks, a games hub and a subscription app, Edye delivers original and curated content to Spanish-speaking families across the U.S. and Latin America.

Prime Video has secured the multi-territory international rights to the new Baywatch series, produced by Fremantle and FOX Entertainment, in a deal that will bring the show to Latin America, Canada, India, and several European markets in 2027.

Under the agreement, Prime Video will premiere the series in Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Benelux, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Canada, Latin America, and India following its debut on FOX in January 2027.

The deal also includes the addition of the complete original Baywatch catalog—comprising all nine seasons of Baywatch and both seasons of Baywatch Hawaii—to Prime Video in those same territories, reinforcing the relaunch strategy for one of television’s most iconic franchises.

The new 12-episode series features an entirely new cast of lifeguards while retaining signature elements of the franchise, including the iconic red swimsuits and its blend of high-stakes rescues, action, and drama.

The series stars Stephen Amell as Hobie Buchannon, alongside Jessica Belkin, Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, Noah Beck, and Brooks Nader. David Chokachi reprises his role as Cody Madison, while Erika Eleniak, Michael Bergin, and Kelly Packard return in guest appearances as their original characters.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Prime Video to bring the new Baywatch to audiences across multiple territories, while also giving fans the opportunity to revisit the original series they know and love. Few shows have made as big a splash or had such lasting cultural impact as Baywatch, and this landmark deal marks a significant moment for one of the industry’s most eagerly anticipated launches,” said Michela Di Mondo, EVP Distribution, Canada & International at Fremantle.

The new Baywatch is co-produced by Fremantle and FOX Entertainment, with Matt Nix (Burn Notice, The Gifted) serving as showrunner and executive producer. McG directs the premiere episode and executive produces alongside Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto, and Mike Horowitz.

FOX Entertainment Global will retain domestic distribution rights in the US, while Fremantle will handle all international sales of the series.
