The company strengthens its international presence with new dramas and comedies that expand television universes and deliver fresh, character-driven storytelling.

Paramount Global Content Distribution presented a strong lineup of original productions at Mipcom 2025, set to premiere on CBS and reach international markets. The slate includes dramas expanding from hit franchises such as Blue Bloods, Fire Country, and FBI, as well as a new workplace comedy set in the most dreaded place of all: the Department of Motor Vehicles.

The lineup features Boston Blue, Sheriff Country, DMV, and CIA — four titles that reinforce Paramount’s commitment to delivering high-quality content, strong characters, and evolving storytelling universes.

Boston Blue

Premiere: October 17, 2025 – CBS
Actor Donnie Wahlberg reprises his iconic role as Detective Danny Reagan in an expansion of the Blue Bloods universe. In this new chapter, Reagan joins the Boston Police Department, where he partners with Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green), the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family. Produced by CBS Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television, the series explores justice, family, and redemption, featuring an ensemble cast that includes Gloria Reuben, Maggie Lawson, and Ernie Hudson.

Sheriff Country

Premiere: October 24, 2025 – CBS
Morena Baccarin stars as Mickey Fox, a tough sheriff patrolling the small town of Edgewater while navigating family tensions that both unite and divide her. Sheriff Country expands the universe of the hit drama Fire Country, blending police procedural elements with powerful family drama. Produced by CBS Studios, the series counts Jerry Bruckheimer, Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan, and Joan Rater among its executive producers.

DMV

Premiere: October 13, 2025 – CBS
This single-camera comedy takes place in the chaotic world of the East Hollywood Department of Motor Vehicles, where a group of quirky employees — from a grumpy former teacher to an upbeat surfer — deal with impatient customers and absurd daily situations. Created by Dana Klein and directed by Trent O’Donnell, DMV is a CBS Studios production that delivers everyday humor and relatable characters, starring Harriet Dyer, Tim Meadows, Tony Cavalero, and Molly Kearney.

CIA

Premiere: TBA
Starring Tom Ellis, CIA is an action drama following a fast-talking CIA officer and a by-the-book FBI agent who must learn to work together to tackle domestic threats. Expanding the FBI universe, the series blends action, intrigue, and humor under the creative vision of Dick Wolf. Produced by Universal Television and CBS Studios, the show is led by showrunner David Hudgins, with Eriq La Salle directing and executive producing the first episode.

With this new lineup, Paramount Global Content Distribution reaffirms its position as one of the leading international distributors of premium television content, offering a mix of powerful drama and contemporary comedy designed to engage audiences worldwide.
