The Colombian telenovela is now available on TelevisaUnivision’s OTT platform in the US and LatAm.
ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, announced today that Colombia’s most-watched telenovela Ana de nadie (Simply Ana) is now available on its premium plan in the United States, Mexico and most Latin American countries. As part of an agreement for ViX between TelevisaUnivision and RCN, the first 41 episodes of Ana de nadie are now available on the service, with new episodes becoming available Monday through Friday, one day after premiering on RCN in Colombia.
Starring Paola Turbay, the drama is an RCN production directed by Luis Carlos Sierra and Olga Lucía Rodríguez and written by Jimena Romero and Gilma Peña, with Yalile Giordanelli as executive producer.
The cast also includes Sebastián Carvajal, Jorge Enrique Abello, Laura Archbold, Judy Henríquez, Ramistelly Herrera, Carlos Báez, Ilenia Antonini, Adriana Arango, Adriana Romero, Lucho Velasco, Diana Wiswell, Camila Zárate, Andrés Toro, Samuel Montalvo, Laura Mar Hernández and Carmen Rosa Franco.
Ana de nadie tells the story of Ana Ocampo (Paola Turbay), who has just turned 50 and learns that her husband, Horacio Valenzuela (Jorge Enrique Abello) has been unfaithful to her for two years. After 25 years of marriage, Ana tries to save her marriage, but realizes that there is no turning back and decides to divorce him. This unexpected and painful reality leads her to question herself as a wife, mother, daughter and sister. When Horacio understands that leaving her was a mistake, he tries to return, but finds a different Ana, determined to give herself a chance in love and to find happiness again with Joaquín Cortés (Sebastián Carvajal), a man 20 years younger than her.
