The visual effects supervisor, winner of both the Goya and Gaudí awards for El 47, joins the team alongside a crew with credits on Game of Thrones and other internationally acclaimed productions

Secuoya Content Group has appointed Iván López Hernández as director of the VFX division at XPost Studios, the post-production brand under Drago Broadcast Services. The move reinforces the group’s commitment to advanced technical services and strengthens its position in a segment that is increasingly in demand among global platforms and broadcasters.

López Hernández is a well-established name in the Spanish visual effects industry. His most recent film project, El 47, earned him the Goya Award and the Gaudí Award for Best Special Effects. Throughout his career, he has contributed to high-profile projects in film, television, and advertising, combining technical supervision with artistic direction.

A Team With International Credentials

He does not arrive alone. Joining him are three specialists with extensive experience in some of the most recognized productions in the industry:

– Guillermo Orbe, Compositing and VFX Supervisor, winner of the Goya Award for El Niño and a VES Award for Game of Thrones.

– Inma Nadela, Compositing Artist, also a VES Award winner for Game of Thrones and a Gaudí Award nominee for Pain and Glory.

– David Esteve, Compositing Artist, nominated for the VES Awards for his work on Game of Thrones.

For Secuoya Content Group, present across the entire value chain of the audiovisual industry, having strong VFX leadership within its Services division represents a concrete competitive advantage. In a market where global platforms demand increasingly high technical and creative standards, the ability to deliver top-tier visual effects in-house becomes a compelling argument for attracting premium projects.

XPost Studios is now positioned as a post-production unit with the creative and technical capacity to compete on the most complex projects in the Ibero-American and international markets.
