Dear Killer Nannies: criado por sicarios, from Disney+; and Anatomía de un instante, from Movistar Plus+, will participate in the international competition; while Sense filTRES, from 3cat, will participate in the short format competition. The event will take place from March 20 to 27 in Lille.
Just over a month before the start of its 2026 edition, Series Mania presented the schedule and highlights of the event, which will take place from March 20 to 27 (Festival) and from March 24 to 26 (Forum), in Lille, France, with Korea as this year’s country of honor.
The organization also revealed the selections for its competitions, where this time Hispanic titles from Spain and Latin America shine.
The international competition list includes, from Latin America, the recently announced Dear Killer Nannies: criado por sicarios, from Disney+. Produced by Telemundo Studios, Underground Producciones, and TIS Studios, as a recipient of the CINA incentive in Colombia, the series features Sebastián Ortega as showrunner and is inspired by the stories of Juan Pablo Escobar, who openly shares experiences from his childhood for this production and is the creator of the series along with Ortega and Pablo Farina.
And from Spain, Anatomía de un instante will compete, an original series from Movistar Plus+ in collaboration with DLO Producciones and in association with ARTE France. Starting with the 23-F coup attempt, which took place in Spain on February 23, 1981, the series dissects one of the crucial moments in recent Spanish history: the democratic transition.
The other selected series are Dustfall (Australia), Major Players (UK), My Brother (Sweden), Paolo (France), The Audacity (USA), and Waiting for the Out (UK).
Spain will also compete in the short format competition with Sense filTRES, a teen drama series produced by 3Cat and Vértigo Films, which premiered in December 2025. The series explores the impact of sexting, digital validation, and the duality between real and virtual life for teenagers.
