Produced by Sürec Film, Cennet is the Turkish adaptation of CJ E&M’s Korean format Tears Of Heaven. Originally titled Cennet’in Gözyaşları, it aired on ATV between 2017 and 2018.

It includes the stellar participation of Almila Ada as Cennet Yilmaz, alongside Berk Atan as Selim Arisoy, Esra Ronabar as Arzu Soyer, the character of Cennet’s mother and Zehra Yilmaz as Melissa Soyer.

Distributed internationally by Eccho Rights, the drama premiered this year in Uruguay and is set to hit more screens in Latin America.

The story follows Cennet, a young woman who was abandoned as a baby and who fought valiantly all her life, desperate for a lost motherly love.

Despite her poor past, the young woman manages to become the best student of Architecture and gets the job of her dreams in a successful company. There she meets Selim, who begins to remember Cennet as a forgotten childhood friend, and they begin to develop strong feelings for each other.

But when the CEO of the company discovers a birthmark on Cennet’s neck, identical to that of the baby she abandoned more than 20 years ago, she begins to believe that Cennet’s appearance is not a coincidence, and she does not react with affection, but with a plan to remove her from her life.
