Telemundo announced the much anticipated premiere of the seventh season of El Señor de los Cielos slated to premiere on Monday, October 14 at 10:00 pm.

Filmed in Mexico and Greece, this new season features the return of a star-studded international cast including Rafael Amaya, Matías Novoa, Carmen Aub, Robinson Díaz, Eduardo Santamarina, Ninel Conde, Iván Arana, Isabella Castillo, and joining this season, Danna García.

The cast also includes the special participation of Guy Ecker, Manuel Landeta, Lisa Owen and Alberto Guerra.

This new season kicks off with the Casillas family fighting to bring back “Aurelio” (Amaya) from his coma before his enemies get to him, while also launching a daring rescue operation to free “Amado” (Novoa), who surrendered to the authorities to avoid being judged by the Mexican legal system and has since been extradited to the United States.

“Season 6 of El Señor de los Cielos ended with an explosive finale,” said Marcos Santana, President of Telemundo Global Studios.

“This new season has been designed to keep audiences at the edge of their seats by giving them all they ever wanted and more. We have raised the level of action, drama, danger and cinematography, fueled by a cast of talented actors who have brought these characters to life over the past six seasons.”
