The initiative, dubbed the Creatorverse Incubator, will focus on identifying TikTok talent and supporting them in the creation of both scripted and unscripted projects.
Free streaming platform Tubi has announced a partnership with TikTok to launch a content incubator that will enable creators to develop original long-form series.
The initiative, dubbed the Creatorverse Incubator, will focus on identifying TikTok talent and supporting them in the creation of both scripted and unscripted projects, which will premiere exclusively on Tubi, reaching its more than 100 million monthly active users.
From Fox Corporation, Tubi’s parent company, executives highlighted that the deal aims to build a bridge between the digital ecosystem and premium content. “This partnership allows us to work with creators who are ready to take the next creative step and expand their audiences,” said Rich Bloom, EVP of Business Development at Tubi.
For its part, TikTok emphasized the initiative’s potential to scale creators’ reach. “This collaboration creates new opportunities to tell bigger stories and connect with broader audiences,” said Dawn Yang, Global Head of Entertainment Partnerships.
TikTok will help identify creators for the program, with the first cohort set to be announced in the coming months, while also driving engagement around the content through its TikTok Spotlight tool.
The move is part of Tubi’s broader push into original content: over the past 10 months, the platform has added more than 16,000 episodes from over 200 creators. Among recent highlights is Terri Joe: Missionary in Miami from creator Kelon Campbell, which ranked among the most-watched streaming titles.
With this initiative, Tubi is looking to capitalize on digital-native talent and accelerate its transition into premium storytelling, reflecting the growing convergence between social platforms and streaming services.
