This Tuesday, the Spanish network premiered the Turkish drama in its prime time, which became the most-watched show of the night with a 12.7% market share.

Turkish dramas faced a new challenge this past Tuesday in Spain, with their premiere -for the first time- in a broadcast network’s prime time (Antena 3).

And they passed the test. Woman premiere on the Spanish network as the most-watched show of the night with a 12.7% market share.

It was seen by 1.366.000 viewers, while receiving 4.031.000 contacts during its broadcast.

With these numbers, it had a better result that Got Talent: Lo mejor del mundo (Telecinco, 10.5% share), and it was 3.5% higher than Antena 3’s numbers on the previous Tuesday.

Woman was also a trending topic during the broadcast.

Based on the Japanese series Woman: My Life for My Children (from the same creators as the drama Mother), Woman revolves around Bahar’s story of self-improvement, love, solidarity and secrets, played by award-winning actress Özge Özpirinçci.

Internationally distributed by Calinos Entertainment, Woman is a co-production by Med Yapım and MF Yapım for Fox Turkey.
