The Worldwide Audiovisual Women’s Association (WAWA) has announced the five executives selected as finalists for the prestigious Woman of the Year 2025 award, a recognition that celebrates leadership, innovation, and the outstanding contributions of women shaping the global audiovisual industry.

The Woman of the Year 2025 award will be presented on January 22, 2026, during Content Americas at the Hilton Downtown Miami.

Based on nominations submitted by WAWA members, the organization revealed that this year’s finalists are Beatriz Cea Okan (Inter Medya), Clara Machado (Endemol Shine Boomdog), Gachi Ciurluini (CanelaTV), Patricia Jasin (Warner Bros. Discovery), and Pilar Blasco (Banijay Iberia).

Each of these leaders represents essential areas of the audiovisual ecosystem, from content strategy and international expansion to scripted production, distribution, and the development of global entertainment brands.

For the first time, the winner will be selected live during the event. All active WAWA members will cast their votes upon arrival, with results overseen by a committee composed of press representatives.
