Gabriela Remirez joins as VP of Local Original Content in Mexico, while Paloma Álvarez assumes the role of Senior Vice President of Publicity & Communications for Latin America.

Paramount, a Skydance Corporation, announced the appointment of two new executives to its leadership structure in Mexico and Latin America.

“These appointments reflect Paramount+’s strategy in the region, focused on expanding business opportunities and creating content that resonates with local audiences,” said the press release from the company.

Gabriela Remirez joins as Vice President of Local Original Content in Mexico. With two decades of experience in the production and development of audiovisual content, including films, series, documentaries, and musicals. Over the past 10 years, she has served as Director of Development at ViX and VIS. Previously, she was Head of Fiction Development at WarnerMedia and Production Manager at HBO Latin America in Mexico. In her new role, she will lead the strategy and development of local productions for Paramount+, bringing a combination of strategic vision and creative expertise, as well as extensive experience managing high-impact projects.

Paloma Álvarez assumes the role of Senior Vice President of Publicity & Communications for Latin America. With a strong background in Entertainment PR, she spent the last eleven years at Netflix across the Publicity, Comms and Marketing functions in the region, holding various leadership positions. A specialist in integrated strategies, Paloma will now lead Publicity & Communications efforts in Latin America for Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
