The preschool IP debuted across multiple digital platforms in China and secured a consumer products agreement with 24 Bridges, as part of a strategy combining distribution, licensing, and international expansion.

Spanish animation company Ánima Kitchent and Indonesia’s Mocca Studio announced the launch of their preschool IP Tippi T-Rex in China through a broad digital rollout and a strategic consumer products agreement with 24 Bridges, a subsidiary of China-based Bridges Culture Transmission Co. Ltd.

The move builds on a previously announced distribution agreement under which 24 Bridges acquired exclusive rights in China to 52 five-minute episodes of the 2D series, along with four songs and 14 short-form episodes of 3.5 minutes each. Barcelona-based kids and family content distributor GoldBee brokered the deal.

Tippi T-Rex has now officially premiered in China, marking another step in its international expansion. The first eight episodes, part of an initial slate of 26 five-minute episodes, launched in late April. Going forward, the series will release two new episodes per week, on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The production is being distributed across an extensive network of digital platforms and services in China, including Youku, Tencent, iQIYI, Sohu, Xiaomi, Konka, FunTV, Baidu Smart Screen, Hisense, TCL, Coocaa, Huawei, NutTV, XGIMI, vivo, Migu, Wasu, and LeTV, as well as several regional IPTV and DVB services. The distribution strategy combines one free episode with full subscription-based access.

Following the successful registration of the Tippi T-Rex trademark in China, 24 Bridges has been appointed master licensee for consumer products in the territory. The initial three-year agreement will cover fast-to-market categories such as food and beverage, publishing and plush toys, alongside high-impact extensions including live shows, gaming apps, theme parks and promotions. Priority categories will also include toys, luggage, tableware, and everyday consumer products.

The expansion into China reflects Ánima Kitchen’s digital-first, data-driven strategy. The IP was originally launched through short-form testing on YouTube before evolving into a production slate of 26 five-minute episodes, with an additional 26 currently in production in co-production with Mocca Studio.

With its combination of lovable characters, educational themes, and imaginative storytelling, Tippi T-Rex continues to resonate with preschool audiences. The expansion into China, across both content and licensing, marks a significant step in the brand’s goal of establishing itself as a leading global preschool franchise.

The series follows the adventures of Tippi, an adorable four-year-old T-Rex who lives with her family and friends in a contemporary world inhabited by dinosaurs and other prehistoric species. Curious, imaginative, and full of energy, she transforms everyday situations into adventures while learning and having fun.
