Dori Media’s Mipcom offerings
The Hive – Studio Quiz Series from United Studios Productions, Kan 11, Makan
A smart, fast-paced, visually engaging and entertaining quiz that combines knowledge, strategy, and decision-making under pressure, with opportunities for dramatic turnarounds right up to the very last moment. In this game, knowing the right answer isn’t enough. Contestants need to know when to take a risk, when to block an opponent, and how to build a strategic play that will lead them to victory.
You Should Know – Entertainment Quiz series from Shenhar Productions
An entertaining quiz show where all questions are uniquely tailored to the contestants, drawing directly from their social media feeds. The format operates on the premise that since the contestants lived through these experiences, took the photos, and posted them online, they should logically know the answers. The game displays dozens of photos from the contestants’ pasts, effectively putting their personal social media timelines on display.
My Hottest Years – Documentary Series (3 X 50′) from Drucker-Goren Communications, Kan 11
A funny, candid and unfiltered three-part documentary series about what happens when a woman’s hormones change, and nobody gave her the memo. My Hottest Years follows an award-winning journalist as she goes down the perimenopause rabbit hole, asking the questions women everywhere are asking but rarely get straight answers to. What happens to a woman’s body, brain, sex life, relationships, confidence and career when estrogen begins to change? And why does something so universal still feel so confusing, private and, at times, almost taboo?
New Love – Dating Reality series Abot Hameiri (Fremantle Israel), Reshet 13
Four smart, strong and successful single women decide to break the patterns they believe have kept them single and dive immediately into finding New Love. They leave behind endless swiping and casual first dates and go straight into something much more revealing: living with a carefully selected stranger for 72 hours. At the end of three days, they have to decide whether there is a strong enough bond to stay together for another 72 hours or say goodbye and start again with someone new. “New Love,” which was just named Reality Series of the Year by leading media outlet Israel Entertainment, has aired for five consecutive seasons on Reshet 13 as Ahava Hadasha, delivering ratings growth each season. Its fifth season grew the audience by 40% over its fourth, while the 25-to-34 demographic jumped 250% compared to season three. A sixth season is currently in pre-production.
Paraiso Tropical (Tropical Paradise) – Documentary Film from APERTURA FILMS in co-production with AJIMOLIDO FILMS (90 minutes)
More than 30 years after a passenger plane exploded over Panama, killing all 21 people on board, filmmaker Abner Benaim reopens the unsolved case that took the life of his uncle. Blending investigative journalism, archival material and personal memory, Tropical Paradise unravels a decades-old mystery while exploring the enduring legacy of violence, loss and a truth that remains out of reach.
Seekers – Premium Documentary, Treehouse Productions (6 X 45′)
Blending rare access with visually rich, character-driven storytelling, the series features a standout cast—including Édgar Ramírez, Riley Keough, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler—as it explores the depths of the human experience and the search for meaning. Each episode unfolds through the lens of a different guide: an Amazonian Chief, an Advaita Monk, an African Healer, a Hindu Sage, a Native Grandmother, and a Buddhist Psychologist. Together, they guide seekers on a journey to confront universal challenges, drawing on ancient wisdom to rediscover what it truly means to be human.
