ViacomCBS signed a deal with Claro Video under which the latter’s subscribers in the country can access Paramount+’s catalog with their subscription at no additional cost.

Paramount+, ViacomCBS’ premium streaming service, announced a strategic alliance with Claro video in Mexico. Beginning September 1, 2021, Claro video subscribers in this market will have access to Paramount+’s premium catalog of content with their subscription package at no additional cost.

The premium streaming platform offers more than five thousand hours of entertainment and premium content for audiences of all ages and a wide variety of content and genres from some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Showtime, MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Smithsonian Channel, as well as new Paramount+ original and exclusive series and blockbuster movies.

Through this agreement, Telmex and Telcel customers will be able to activate their subscription to the Claro video catalog included at no additional cost in their Infinitum and MAX 3000 or higher plans, respectively, and can pay for their Claro video subscription via credit card or iTunes, where they will be able to enjoy a one-month trial.

With Paramount+, kids and their families can enjoy hit Nickelodeon series including Los Casagrande, Paw Patrol, Ninja Turtles, Blaze & The Monster Machines, full seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants, as well as movies like The Adventures of Paddington. In addition, the extensive library of classic content includes series NCIS, Twin Peaks, The Good Wife, Everybody Hates Chris, Dexter, Ray Donovan, The Affair and City on a Hill, as well as recent hits The Handmaid’s Tale, Yellowstone and Your Honor, among others.

Paramount+ is also home to Showtime’s most popular premieres including The Good Lord Bird starring Ethan Hawke and Joshua Caleb Johnson; Jeff Daniels and Brendan Gleeson’s The Comey Rule; Blackbird starring acclaimed actresses Susan Sarandon and Kate Winslet and Escape at Dannemora, starring Benicio del Toro, Patricia Arquette and Paul Dano.

The premium streaming service adds new content every month, and currently offers original films including Infinite, starring Mark Wahlberg; soon to be released Cecilia and Los Enviados; hit movies such as The Hitman’s Bodyguard starring Salma Hayek, Samuel Jackson and Ryan Reynolds; The Outpost, starring Orlando Bloom, Scott Eastwood and Caleb Landry Jones; sagas such as Mission Impossible and The Godfather; classics such as Forrest Gump, as well as upcoming series Madame X and the new season of Dexter.
