After 20 years with the company, the executive is leaving his role as VPE, Networks and Distribution for Latin America, Canada and US Hispanic.

Sony Pictures Televison (SPT) confirmed to ttvnews that Alex Marin is stepping down from his role at the company after more than 20 years.

Keith LeGoy, president of Distribution and Networks at SPT, announced the executive is leaving his position as EVP, Networks and Distribution for Latin America, Canada and US Hispanic in early August.

“Alex has decided to take some time to evaluate his next professional chapter and we’re supportive of that decision,” LeGoy said.

“Alex has been a prominent member of the SPT distribution, sales and networks groups, consistently growing our various businesses and bringing a wealth of experience and passion to our organization. Over the course of his tenure, Alex has held various roles in Mexico City, London and Miami with great tenacity and devotion to the company and his teams.”

“His spirited attitude and commitment to Sony Pictures will leave an indelible mark on our group for many years to come and I want to offer my sincerest thanks for his leadership and dedication.”
