As of this month and for one year, Amazon Prime Video will offer its subscribers in Latin America Disney movies and series, including the latest Marvel releases, Pixar animations and more.

Amazon announced a one-year licensing agreement with Disney, bringing select Disney titles to Latin America via Prime Video.

The collection includes a variety of blockbusters from the Disney catalog, including Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame from Marvel Studios, its most recent animated titles such as Ralph Breaks The Internet and Toy Story 4 from Disney and Pixar, as well as many of their films such as The Lion King, Aladdin and Mary Poppins Returns, to name a few.

Starting October 1, and continuing until September 2020, the agreement will also bring a lineage of movies and series that range from Pirates of the Caribbean movies and Pixar classics such as The Incredibles and A Bug’s Life, to acclaimed series including Grey’s Anatomy, American Horror Story and How I Met Your Mother.

The Disney movie and series library are some of the most popular titles around the world – our customers are going to love watching these classic and recent stories,” said Pablo Iacoviello, Head of Latin American Content, Prime Video.

Beginning October 1, Prime Video will be adding new movies and new series, giving customers across Latin America unlimited streaming access to:

– The newest blockbusters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, along with MCU phase one, two and three films, such as Iron Man, Thor: The Dark World, Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

– Successful live action movies such as The Lion King, Mary Poppins Returns, The Nutcracker And The Four Realms, Beauty and the Beast, Maleficent and their next sequel, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.

– Epic animated films including Ralph Breaks The Internet, Big Hero 6, Tangled, Toy Story 1-4, Zootopia and Moana, as well as beloved 2D classics such as The Princess and the Frog and Lilo & Stitch.

– All seasons of the hit series Grey’s Anatomy, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story and How I Met Your Mother.

The Disney titles that are included in this agreement will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video throughout Latin America, which can be accessed through apps for Smart TVs, connected internet devices including Fire TV, mobile and online devices.

Members can also download movies on mobile devices to watch them without an internet connection and at no additional cost to their membership. Prime Video is available to Amazon Prime members in Mexico and Brazil as a benefit of their membership.
