Apple TV+ gave a sneak peek of the six-episode drama series Land of Women, produced by Bambú Producciones and executive produced by Eva Longoria, with support from the team at UnbeliEVAble Entertainment. The series, starring Longoria, will premiere in the summer of 2024 and will be available in English and Spanish.

Land of Women tells the story of Gala (Eva Longoria), a New Yorker whose life is turned upside down when her husband implicates the family in financial irregularities, and she is forced to flee the city with her elderly mother (Carmen Maura) and college-age daughter (Victoria Bazúa).

To escape the dangerous criminals to whom Gala’s now-missing husband is indebted, the three women hide out in the same charming northern Spanish wine village from which Gala’s mother fled 50 years ago, vowing never to return. The women seek a fresh start and hope their identities remain unknown, but gossip in the small town spreads quickly, uncovering their deepest secrets and family truths.

Inspired by Sandra Barneda’s novel of the same name, Land of Women was created by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, and Paula Fernández and directed by Carlos Sedes, an Iris Award winner.

Showrunner Ramón Campos, Iris Award winner Teresa Fernández-Valdés, Ben Spector, and Longoria executive produce the series through their award-winning production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment.
