The first Spanish version is produced by Warner Bros. ITVP.

Atresmedia presented its next great show for Antena 3’s prime time at the Vitoria-Gasteiz FesTVal: Veo cómo cantas.

The musical show, which will hit its screen “very soon”, is the adaptation of the Korean format I Can See Your Voice (by CJ ENM), one of the most successful in recent times and among the most adapted in the world.

The Spanish version is produced by Atresmedia Televisión and Warner Bros. ITVP Spain, and is presented as the group’s biggest entertainment bet for this season.

The contest has a clear objective: to find the real singer among the impostors. According to Carmen Ferreiro, director of entertainment programs at Atresmedia, told a press conference, it combines all the virtues of entertainment: talent, intuition, humor and play.

Pablo Abelenda, executive producer of Warner Bros., also assured that: “The great particularity of the format is that every 5 or 6 minutes there is a revelation, it is a hands-on-the-head program of unexpected situations.”

Veo cómo cantas will be presented by Manel Fuentes and the permanent advisory panel will be made up of Ruth Lorenzo, Ana Milan, Josie and El Monaguillo.

The format from South Korea, the country from which Mask Singer also originates, already has more than 20 adaptations around the world, including versions already issued and commissioned. The program has been a success with audiences, among others, in the US (FOX), the United Kingdom (BBC), Germany (RTL), the Netherlands (RTL4) or Korea, a territory that is currently preparing its ninth broadcast season.

Additionally, I Can See Your Voice has been nominated at the 44th Emmy Awards in the Best Entertainment Program category, as well as the 2020 Venice TV Awards.
