The legendary Cagney & Lacey producer is recording “Before and After Cagney & Lacey” at The Kitchen.
The Kitchen, the Emmy Award-winning dubbing and localization studio known for helping premium content cross borders, is expanding its audio storytelling expertise with the recording of a new audiobook by legendary television producer Barney Rosenzweig, best known as the producer behind the groundbreaking television series Cagney & Lacey (1982) a series that helped redefine the portrayal of women on American television and earned multiple Emmy Awards.
Rosenzweig continues to write and tell stories about his extraordinary career in Hollywood and the people and productions that shaped his life on his Substack, Notes From A Warm Island. Barney Rosenzweig’s “Before and After Cagney & Lacey,” a second memoir … coming this fall from McFarland Publishers.
Rosenzweig has chosen The Kitchen’s Miami facility to record his new audiobook, bringing together one of television’s most accomplished storytellers with a studio whose expertise is rooted in the art and technology of capturing exceptional performances.
