CDC announced its has wrapped production on its first local mexican feature, Todas menos tu.

Shot in Tulum and directed by Mexican director Luis Kuri, Todas Menos Tu is produced by No Idea Entertainment, in collaboration with CDC United Network, Zima Entertainment and Cinépolis Distribución.

It’s the story of a group of very close friends, those kinds of friends that think they cannot live one without the other. Everything is fine until one of them, Luis, played by Ricardo Abarca from ¿Qué culpa tiene el niño? and El repatriado, announces that he is going to marry Gaby (Carolina Miranda, Quién Mato a Sara and Señora Acero). The other friends do not support his decision and two nights before the wedding they seem to find the best opportunity to sabotage the event.

The fun romantic comedy features some of Mexico’s most recognizable and popular movie stars. In addition to Ricardo Abarca and Carolina Miranda, the cast also includes Cassandra Sánchez Navarro, currently starring in Amazon Prime Video’s successful Tangos, Tequilas y Algunas Mentiras, as well as Jesús Zavala known from Netflix’s successful series Club de Cuervos, and Ana González Bello y Ozwaldo Zárate among others.

“We are very excited to bring this fun comedy to audiences across Latin America”, commented CDC Managing Partner Erik Jensen. “It has all the ingredients to make it a success: great characters, comedy, romance, beautiful locations, and a wedding. We also could not be happier with the cast that we have all been able to assemble. These are Mexico’s most in demand current acting talent.”

Jensen continued: “Our experience working with No Idea Entertainment, Cinépolis Distribución and Zima Entertainment on this production could not have been smoother and more professional. We hope to do many more like this in the future.”

The release is currently scheduled in Mexico for the end of this year on more than 1000 screens through Cinépolis Distribución.
