The series, starring Paulo Pires and Deborah Secco (Crossed Paths), consists of six episodes. With artistic direction by Sérgio Graciano, Codex 632 was created by Pedro Lopes and based on the original work of the same name by journalist José Rodrigues dos Santos.

With surprising developments, the investigative plot follows the adventure full of mysteries and myths of Tomás (Paulo Pires), husband of Constança (Deborah Secco), and a university professor who becomes involved in an investigation initiated by his late mentor, Martinho Toscano.

This investigation has the potential to change the collective memory and perception we have of world history. Husband of Luisa Toscano (Betty Faria, from Edge of Desire), Martinho was conducting research on the “discovery of Brazil” when he died in Rio de Janeiro under mysterious circumstances. The historian’s death is being investigated by the police, and the closer Tomás gets to the truth, the more danger he will face. As a cryptology specialist, Tomás is hired by Nelson Moliarti (Alexandre Borges, from Brazil Avenue) to decode his mentor’s quest.
