Currently in production by Karamel Yapim and set to premiere on Kanal 7 on March 24, the drama will be distributed internationally by Eccho Rights.

Turkish production company Karamel Yapim has closed a deal with distributor Eccho Rights to represent their upcoming Daily Drama Legacy (Emanet) worldwide.

The series is currently in production and set to launch on Kanal 7 on March 24th where it will follow in the footsteps of the channel’s other successful daily dramas, like The Promise.

Legacy tells the story of Yaman, a successful businessman who is incapable of love because of his traumatic childhood. There is only one person that he feels something for, his young nephew Yusuf. When Yusuf’s mother dies unexpectedly, his aunt Seher, a beautiful, courageous young woman, moves into the family mansion to take care of him.

Initially clashing with Yaman and his cold and stand-offish behavior, both soon start to develop deep feelings for one another.

“We are proud to continue our fruitful collaboration with Karamel Yapim having represented Daily Dramas Prisoner of Love and The Promise with great response from our clients. Legacy is a captivating and emotional story that touches on family, loyalty and love in a way that audiences can connect to all over the world”, says Handan Özkubat, Director of Turkish Drama at Eccho Rights.

The Promise, also produced by Karamel Yapim for Kanal 7 in Turkey, which continues with record breaking ratings since its launch in February of last year, has sold widely internationally and has been renewed for a third season in Turkey.
