The executive also highlighted the opportunities available to children’s content companies with a strong digital presence, even amid ongoing market challenges.

El Reino Infantil is moving forward with the expansion of one of its flagship franchises, having started production on the La Granja de Zenón movie, which is set to hit theaters in mid-2028. The announcement was made by Felipe de Stefani, CEO of the company, during Mipcom, where El Reino Infantil is holding an intensive schedule of meetings with potential partners to drive new international business.

“We’re here at Mipcom in Cannes, taking the opportunity to make some important announcements, including the start of production on our La Granja de Zenón movie, which will be available in theaters in mid-2028,” the executive said.

Throughout the market, El Reino Infantil is also meeting with production, animation and theatrical distribution companies to explore opportunities to develop its projects and expand their international reach.

“We’ve had around 28 meetings a day, literally, and we’re very happy with the results,” De Stefani said, highlighting the level of activity and business prospects the company is seeing in Cannes.

The executive also emphasized the opportunities available to children’s content companies with a strong digital presence, even in a challenging market environment.

“We see that, despite the many challenges the children’s market has faced in recent years, companies like ours, which have a strong digital presence, have high expectations and very promising prospects for generating international business,” he concluded.
