The romantic comedy starring Can Yaman was acquired by Mediaset in Italy.

Turkish distributor Global Agency announced the sale of its Turkish drama, Daydreamer, to Italy.

Broadcast in Spain under the title Pájaro soñador, the Turkish romantic comedy, whose original title is Erkenci Kuş, was acquired by Mediaset, which will premiere it “very soon” through one of its channels.

Daydreamer stars the successful Turkish actor Can Yaman and has already been sold to 22 countries including Spain, Latvia, Bosnia, North Macedonia and Georgia.

It was produced by Gold Film and broadcast in Turkey on Star TV.

“Sales of our romantic comedy Daydreamer have increased dramatically in recent times. It is an ideal series for these times and scored high ratings in the countries in which it was broadcast. Its actors have many fans around the world,” said Izzet Pinto, CEO and founder of Global Agency.

With 160 hours, Daydreamer tells the story of Sanem and Can, two independent souls with different lifestyles whose paths intersect in the heart of Istanbul.

In addition to Can Yaman, the series stars Demet Özdemir.
