The founder and CEO of the Turkish company shared the plans for new services in different regions, including the possibility of opening offices in Latin America

The scope of Kadraj Group operation includes a plethora of services, but their main area is localization, with the Turkish company working with titles like Family Secrets, The Girl of the Green Valley and Golden Boy, among many others.

“We have taken involved in many content projects on various phases during the past 14 years,” explains Hasan Köroğlu, founder and CEO of Kadraj Group. “To satisfy our clients’ needs, [now] we are extending the scope of our services. Because of this, we have plans to open new offices in Europe and Latin America to be nearer to our customers.”

What is the size of Kadraj’s operation and where is located?

We offer our services to the global market, since Turkish dramas are among the most in-demand forms of media. Daily processing and delivery to the broadcasters of about 800 hours of Turkish commercial material takes place at Kadraj’s main facility in Istanbul.

What titles can you highlight among the ones you have worked with?

We have taken involved in many content projects on various phases during the past 14 years. Yargı (aka Family Secrets) of Ay Yapım, Sadakatsiz (A Woman Scorned) of Med Yapım, Yeşil Vadinin Kızı (The Girl of the Green Valley) of Yeşil Yapım, Yalı Çapkını (Golden Boy) of OGM, Ya Çok Seversin (If You Love) of Ay Yapım, are some of them.

Looking at your different services. What area do you expect to grow more in the future?

In the past few years, there has been an increase in the automation of workflows, technological advancements in audiovisual workflow, better internet bandwidths, and innovations in cloud storage. But AI is unquestionably the most significant breakthrough. Translation and dubbing are examples of localization, which is far more efficient, accurate, and quick. We think that in the near future, quality control on all workflow processes will be the most crucial step. It is important to continuously keep an eye on the AI’s output.

When it comes to international partners, what projects would you like to highlight?

We are extending our service offerings to new regions, like as the Asia-Pacific and Africa regions, with our 14 years of experience and Kadraj’s status as a hub for Turkish dramas. To satisfy our clients’ needs, we are extending the scope of our services. Because of this, we have plans to open new offices in Europe and Latin America to be nearer to our customers.

What role does Latin America play in your company’s business?

Due to the popularity of Turkish dramas in the area over the past decade, Latin America has been our primary area of attention. One of the best markers for the rest of the globe is how well the content performs in Latin America.  The most crucial aspect of our business with Latin America is localization. As a result, together with our long-term partners, we developed into one of the most experienced teams [in the market].
