The coproduction between Keshet Studios and HBO Studios is landing in Latin America and Europe thanks to HBO Europe and HBO Latin America, which will premiere the show during August.

Keshet International continues to expand the footprint of drama series Our Boys, which is now heading to Europe and Latin America thanks to HBO.

HBO Europe and HBO Latin America have acquired the broadcasting rights for the ten episodes of this coproduction between Keshet Studios and HBO Studios.

The show will debut in the US and the Caribbean on August 12, and then roll out across all of Latin America. In Europe, the show will premiere on August 13 in Spain, Portugal, the Nordics, the Baltics, Central and Eastern Europe.

Based on real-life events that contributed to the outbreak of the 2014 Gaza war, Our Boys follows the investigation into the murder of 16-year-old Palestinian Muhammad Abu Khdeir in Jerusalem.

The show was created by a team of filmmakers including Hagai Levi (The Affair), Joseph Cedar (Footnote) and Tawfik Abu Wael (Thirst), with Levi and Cedar executive producing.

In addition to the show’s presale in HBO Europe and HBO Latin America, Keshet International said it is in ongoing discussions with “numerous” other broadcast partners and platforms.
