WarnerMedia’s long-awaited OTT platform announced that it plans to release up to 100 original productions from Latin America in the next two years.

WarnerMedia announced it is preparing up to 100 original Latin American productions to premiere in the next two years. Of these, 33 are already in production.

As expected, they will all premiere under the Max Originals brand.

Among the productions, they detailed, are fiction series, films, documentaries, specials and reality shows.

Among them are the already announced Bunker (Mexico), Amarres (Mexico), Días de gallos (Argentina) and Los ausentes (Brazil).

New productions will be added in 2021 such as:

Bilardo, el doctor del futbol (Argentina): a four-episode documentary series that will feature the testimony of the most important figures in Argentina and soccer itself.

Sustos ocultos de Frankelda (Mexico): an anthology of stop-motion horror stories for children created by Cinema Fantasma, a specialized studio recognized in this technique, which will take us to the darkest secrets of Frankelda and her book, her faithful companion , where there will be intense and funny stories where not everything is what it seems.

HBO Max will arrive in Latin America and the Caribbean in June 2021.
