Louisa Forsyth as Vice President of Sales for the UK and Ireland and Jonathan Hughes as Vice President of Sales for Germany and Benelux.
ITV Studios has announced a restructuring of its global sales division with the appointments of Louisa Forsyth as Vice President of Sales for the UK and Ireland and Jonathan Hughes as Vice President of Sales for Germany and Benelux.
Both executives will report directly to Jemma Harvey, EVP of EMEA & UK Sales and Distribution, as the company continues to strengthen its commercial structure across Europe.
In her new role, Forsyth will oversee the distribution of pre-sales, co-productions and sales of ITV Studios’ 100,000-plus-hour content catalogue across the UK and Ireland. She takes on the position after serving as VP, Global Content, Scripted, where she spent eight years working closely with leading producers including Hartswood Films, World Productions, Mammoth Screen, Monumental Television, Silverprint Pictures and Moonage Pictures.
Forsyth joined ITV Studios in 2018 from Sky, where she built a 16-year career across several roles, including programme acquisitions and corporate affairs. She also served for seven years as a trustee of the MAMA Youth Project.
Meanwhile, Hughes joins ITV Studios after a decade at All3Media International, where he led sales across Germany, France and Benelux while overseeing co-production deals and format licensing. During his tenure, he worked on major titles including Midsomer Murders, All Creatures Great and Small and Fleabag, and secured co-production agreements for projects such as Van Der Valk, The Assassin, The Tourist, Boarders and Generation Z.
Prior to All3Media International, Hughes spent eight years as Sales Manager at factual content specialist Optomen International.
“I am thrilled that Louisa Forsyth is taking up the role of VP UK and Ireland, and couldn’t be more delighted to welcome Jonathan Hughes into ITV Studios as our new VP Germany and Benelux. They are both outstanding commercial strategists,” said Jemma Harvey.
Harvey added that Forsyth’s deep understanding of the British market and extensive experience within the company make her well positioned to lead ITV Studios’ UK sales strategy, while Hughes’ proven track record in driving high-value sales and co-productions across Europe will be instrumental in expanding the company’s business in Germany and Benelux.
The appointments follow a series of recent hires and promotions within ITV Studios’ unscripted distribution team, including Zack Wallace as Director, Unscripted, US & LATAM; Eliana Barbosa as Senior Sales Manager, Unscripted, Italy, Iberia and CEE; Ben Nohr as Sales Manager, Unscripted, France and Germany; and the promotion of Lucy Pryke to Sales Manager, Unscripted, Nordics and Benelux.
