The ViacomCBS network averaged a 41.14% share in September, adding up 33 consecutive months as the most watched show on Argentine TV. For October, Telefe is preparing two major premieres: Masterchef Celebrity and Turkish drama Woman.

It is no longer news that Telefe has ended a new month as the audience leader for Argentine broadcast TV.

In September, the brand owned by ViacomCBS registered an average share of 41.14%, thus completing 33 uninterrupted months of leadership.

In all of 2020, Telefe leads with 40.76% of screen share.

On average, Telefe was the winner every day of the month and in all time slots: from 12:00 to 4:00 pm it reached a 38.64% share; 4:00 to 8:00 pm, 44.39%; and from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am, 40.29%.

THE MOST VIEWED SHOWS

In the ranking of the most viewed productions on Argentine television during September, Telefe dominated the Top 10 with 7 programs.

First place went to Jesús, the Brazilian blockbuster by Record TV, based on the shocking story of Jesús de Nazaret, which obtained a 44.97% share.

The other programs were the Turkish dramas ¿Y tú quién eres? (52.85%) and Alas rotas (51.10%), the revival of the children’s classic Floricienta (46.17%), the Turkish drama Elif (39.16%), Telefe Noticias (37.03%) and PH (42.09%).

Other spaces that led in their time slot were Cortá por Lozano, number one in the afternoons with an average share of 39.59%, or 30 años Juntos, Educando a Nina, another revival, which achieved 38.30% in prime time .

The Turkish boom has also yielded great results on Sundays with Fatmagul, which led with 40.77% share.

October will be a month with great premieres for Telefe: on Monday 5, Masterchef Celebrity will arrive, with Santiago del Moro, an implacable jury and 16 celebrities in the most successful cooking competition in the world, and Fuerza de mujer (Woman), the Turkish series (Calinos Entertainment) that is conquering the whole world.
