TF1’s French adaptation was sold to Mediaset España in Spain and Suspilne Ukraine in Ukraine, while aha’s Indian adaptation was acquired by Flow for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Keshet International (KI) has announced a new slate of international distribution deals for different versions of its hit romantic comedy franchise The Baker and the Beauty, including agreements in Spain, Latin America, Ukraine and Nepal.

Among the latest deals, the distributor licensed La Belle et Le Boulanger, TF1’s French adaptation produced by Marathon Studio and Terence Films, to Mediaset España for Spain and to Suspilne Ukraine.

The series, starring Amir Haddad and Ludmilla von Claer, is set to premiere soon on Telecinco in Spain and on Suspilne Kultura in Ukraine in 2027.

In Latin America, KI also closed a deal with Flow, Personal’s live TV and streaming platform, for the Telugu-language adaptation The Baker and the Beauty India, produced by Annapurna Studios for Indian streamer aha. The series will be available in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Additionally, Keshet International secured a global agreement with streamer IZZY TV for all three seasons of the original Israeli series, The Baker and the Beauty (Lihyot Ita), starring Aviv Alush and Rotem Sela. Seasons one and two are already available on the platform, while season three will make its international debut outside Israel on July 9, with subtitles in 10 languages. Separately, season one has also been licensed to Himalya TV in Nepal.

Created by Assi Azar for Keshet 12, The Baker and the Beauty follows the unlikely romance between a humble baker and an international superstar. According to K7 Media’s Tracking the Scripted Giants 2026 report, the format currently ranks among the world’s top scripted franchises and has already been adapted in five territories.

“With these new tape sales and five local adaptations produced to date, The Baker and the Beauty is one of those shows with undeniable universal appeal,” said Salome Peillon, Managing Director of Distribution at Keshet International. “We’re particularly thrilled to help bring the French and Telugu adaptations of this captivating opposites-attract love story to viewers elsewhere.”

Following its success in Israel, where all three seasons became the most-watched drama on Keshet 12 during their respective broadcast years, the format has also been adapted in France, the US, the Netherlands, Russia and India. The original Israeli series was previously licensed to Amazon Prime Video under a landmark global deal brokered by Keshet International.
