Beta Film announced sales for the hit drama in Norway, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Greece and Cyprus.

Ahead of the international premiere of the high-end drama series Tell Me Who I Am at Mipcom Online+, Beta Film has sold the Movistar+ original to the Nordics and throughout Europe.

Norway’s NRK, Denmark’s DR, and YLE in Finland acquired the drama starring Goya-winning Irene Escolar and Italian star actress Maria Pia Calzone (Gomorrah). Contracts were also signed with Portugal (RTP), Greece and Cyprus (Forthnet Group).

Tell Me Who I Am, which celebrated its world premiere in San Sebastian in September, will also go to HBO Latin America. U.S. partner is Telemundo International Studios. Further deals are in final negotiations.

Tell Me Who I Am is based on the internationally successful novel Dime Quien Soy by Julia Navarro, which had been published all over the world, including the United States, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain, with more than one million copies sold.

The nine-hour show, one of the most expensive Spanish series to date, takes audiences on an exciting journey through the 20th century and its most relevant historical events from the Spanish Civil War, to WWII, to the fall of the Berlin Wall, and was shot at more than 300 locations and with 3000 extras. The limited series’ story unfolds across different countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, Greece, Argentina, Russia, Poland, France and Great Britain, following young and beautiful Amelia Garayoa, a woman trapped by contradictions, who will make mistakes that she may never quite finish paying for.

Tell Me Who I Am (9x1h) is a production of Movistar + in collaboration with DLO Producciones, Telemundo and Beta Film. It has been created by José Manuel Lorenzo and directed by Eduard Cortés.
