At an event in Brazil, the OTT confirmed that the Kondzilla series, produced by Gullane, will return with a second season.

This weekend in Brazil, Netflix hosted the Tudum Festival Netflix event, organized by the OTT to highlight its local and international productions in the country.

And as part of the panel on the series Sintonía, which featured actors MC Jottapê, Bruna Mascarenhas and Christian Malheiros, the protagonists of the series confirmed their renewal for a second season.

As detailed, filming will take place during the first half of 2020 and the premiere will be this year. It will be six episodes in total.

Sintonía was created by KondZilla, the producer and music director who owns the largest YouTube channel in Brazil. The production, meanwhile, was done by Gullane.

It tells the story of three childhood friends who grow up in a favela in San Pablo and separate from adults.

Its renewal comes after the national and international success of the series, which led in August the TV Shows on the Rise ranking and The Wit’s social ranking that same month.
