Directed by Nacho Vigalondo, El vecino, the new Netflix comedy, starring Quim Gutierrez and Clara Lago, will premiere worldwide on December 31.
Streaming platform Netflix revealed the official poster, trailer and the first images for El vecino, its new original Spanish series produced by Zeta Audiovisual (Élite).
In addition, it announced the series will premiere on December 31.
Starring Quim Gutiérrez (AzulOscuroCasiNegro, Ventajas de viajar en tren, Litus) and Clara Lago (Ocho apellidos vascos, Tengo ganas de ti, La cara oculta), the series is based on the graphic novels by Santiago García and Pepo Pérez.
Catalina Sopelana (Quién te cantará) and Adrián Pino (Allí abajo, Grupo 7, Malviviendo) complete the leading cast of this new series, which is directed by Nacho Vigalondo (7:35 de la mañana, Los Cronocrímenes).
Carlos de Pando, Sara Antuña, Nahikari Ipiña and Eneko Gutiérrez are the series’ executive producers.
Created by Miguel Esteban and Raúl Navarro, El vecino tells the story of Javier (Quim Gutiérrez), who is not doing very well at work or in his relationship with Lola (Clara Lago). What he least needed was for an alien to fall on him and give him his super powers before he died.
Now that he is a superhero he is not doing better than before. Luckily there is José Ramón (Adrián Pino), his neighbor, who will teach him to use his powers for good and to hide his secret identity.
