After officially announcing the production of its second season last October, The Mediapro Studio has now revealed the first names of the cast of the new episodes of its international series The Head.

John Lynch (The Terror, In the Name of the Father) and Katharine O’Donnelly (Mary Queen of Scots, Clique), the two protagonists of the first installment, will return to their respective characters as biologist Arthur Wilde and young doctor Maggie Mitchell in the second season.

In addition, The Head will add new stars including the Spanish actor of Armenian-Lebanese origin Hovik Keuchkerian (Money Heist, Riot Police), the Irish Moe Dunford (Vikings), the Swedish Josefin Nelden (The Restaurant) and the British Olivia Morris (Hotel Portofino).

The second season of The Head will once again have an isolated and inaccessible place as its main setting, this time a huge freighter that sails in the middle of the ocean with a scientific mission, and will resume the confrontation between good and evil that already marked the plot. from the first installment of the series.

The Head will once again feature Jorge Dorado (The Pier) as director of all its episodes. Ran Tellem, director of International Content Development at The Mediapro Studio, executive producer and co-creator of the first season, leads the development of the new plot of the series, which incorporates as scriptwriters Mariano Baselga, executive producer of the first season, and to the playwright and writer Jordi Galcerán.
