Colombian drama La reina del Flow is headed to the US with its own local adaptation.

The Caracol Televisión drama will be adapted by Peacock, with Jorge Reyes, from Westbrook Studios and Universal Television as writer.

As revealed by Deadline, actress and singer Becky G. is in talks to play the lead in the series.

The adaptation is produced by Westbrook Studios and Universal Television, with executive production by Tucker Tooley Entertainment, Major Content, Wild Sheep Content y Caracol Televisión.

La reina del flow is one of the most successful Colombian telenovelas of recent years. The series, a Teleset and Sony Pictures Television production for Caracol Televisión, initially premiered through Caracol in 2018.

The telenovela also became a global hit on Netflix, where it remained among the most viewed on the platform for several weeks.
