La nieta elegida is a new story by screenwriter Julio Jiménez, considered the Colombian Hitchcock.

This Monday, September 27 at 9:00 p.m., RCN will premiere its new original fiction bet: La nieta elegida.

It is a story of mystery and intrigue by the renowned screenwriter Julio Jiménez, considered the Colombian Hitchcock, directed by Rodrigo Lalinde and Consuelo González.

As defined by RCN, La nieta elegida is “a classic suspense telenovela, full of intrigue, hatred and love, in which nothing is what it seems and in which each of the characters will show how far they are willing to go with so as to satisfy his thirst for revenge and ambition”.

It has an outstanding cast of actors with a long history on national television, led by her protagonist Consuelo Luzardo, and alongside her Carlos Torres and Francisca Estévez.

Also participating are Kepa Amuchástegui, Margalida Castro, Ana María Arango, Juliette Pardau, Geraldine Zivic, Silvia De Dios, Patrick Delmas, Adriana Arango, Marcela Benjumea, Sebastián Osorio, Giancarlo Mendoza, Carlos Báez, Cristina Campuzano, Claudio Cataño and Juan Pablo Gamboa, among others.

The scripts were written by Julio Jiménez, creator of successful stories such as Los cuervos, La viuda de blanco, Las aguas mansas, En cuerpo ajeno, Lola calamidades, Yo amo a Paquita Gallego and ¿Por qué mataron a Betty si era tan buena muchacha? As co-writer was Iván Martínez, who also accompanied Jiménez on Madre Luna.
