Two months after its launch in Panama, RTVE announced its OTT will now reach all of Latin America.

On June 8, Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) is launching RTVE Play in the Latin American continent. The OTT platform offers premium content, including the best selection of RTVE’s titles.

Its expansion throughout America comes two months after its launch in Panama.

The company also announced it will offer access to the platform for free for a month, after which it will cost 2.99 dollars a month.

As detailed, the OTT will provide access to productions such as Isabel, I’m alive, Carlos Rey emperador, Néboa, La Caza. Monteperdido, Malaka, Promesas de Arena or Cuéntame como pasó, as well as a wide range of cinema.

It can be accessed through the rtveplay.com website, or any mobile device, through an app for iOS and Android.

“RTVE Play is part of the corporation’s internationalization strategy, and has the guarantee and experience of Spanish public television in the production of quality content. Likewise, RTVE wants this platform to be a real springboard to publicize the thriving audiovisual industry in Spain around the world,” the company said.

“RTVE Play is a very important step in the strategy to expand the reach of the best content on Spanish Television, overcoming territorial limitations and using all the resources that technology offers us,” said Rosa María Mateo, sole provisional administrator of RTVE.
