The daily drama from Saran Media Group’s new division has already been sold to multiple territories and has just made its debut on Divinity in Spain.

Saran Studios was present for the first time at LA Screenings with its highly-successful series A Mother’s Love.

“A Mother’s Love is a daily show that began airing on TV8 in Turkey on February 14,” Sera Kaynak, Sales and Acquisitions Executive at Saran Studios, told ttvnews. “It is the first time that TV8 commissioned a daily series. They put a lot of faith in us and they are doing very well. It has been confirmed to have at least 150 episodes, but it is expected to stretch to 180 episodes or more.”

“It is selling very well around the world and has done very well in Turkey. It’s a daily show,” added Kaynak.

The title, which debuted in Turkey on TV8 in February, has already been sold to Spain, Lithuania and Israel.

A Mother’s Love is produced by Saran Studios, together with Stellar Yapim and ProTV, the leading Romanian broadcaster. The series stars Selin Sezgin, the actress who rose to fame in Elif, another Stellar Yapim production.

Sezgin plays Nazli, a poor woman who is hired to pose as the mother of a heart-stricken child, whose father fears he will not bear the loss of her biological mother. Nazli accepts her role and moves into a luxurious mansion, but her life is far from a fairy tale.

Just a few weeks ago, Divinity, a Mediaset channel, premiered A Mother’s Love with excellent results in Spain.

About her first experience at LASI, where Kaynak is joined by Julia Berköz, General Manager of Saran Studios, the executive comments: “We are present at this event for the first time and it has been very fruitful, we have had many meetings with very interesting people. It’s been going really well for us, we’ve got a lot of potential deals for our first show.”
