The second season of the Spanish series premiered on Netflix on July 23 and quickly found a spot in TV Time’s weekly Binge Report, in addition to leading the week’s ranking of Shows on the Rise.

After becoming one of Netflix’s most successful series with its premiere last March, Sky Rojo, the platform’s Spanish original, once again broke records with its second season.

Álex Pina’s series returned with new episodes on July 23 and quickly became one of the most watched titles on the platform, once again leading the TV Time’s weekly Shows on the Rise ranking, with an increase of more than 95% in its viewership.

Sky Rojo repeats the success of its first installment, with which it managed to enter the consultancy’s Binge Report several times and even entered the Netflix Top 10 in more than 30 countries.

The Binge Report podium for the week of July 19-25 is completed by Amazon Prime Video’s Hostel Daze in second place and Disney+’s Marvel Studios: Assembled in third.

Also notable are the unscripted content Squeezie, by YouTube (4th), The Movies That Made Us, by Netflix (5th), Survivor Australia (8th) and LEGO Masters, by FOX (10th); as well as Power III: Raising Kanan (6th) and the revelation series of the moment, Ted Lasso from Apple TV + (9th).

Sky Rojo also managed to find a spot in the ranking of TV Time’s most binged series of the week, taking over the last position of the consulting firm’s Binge Report.

This week also sees the presence of fellow Spanish series, Elite, in fourth place.

The ranking is led by the Netflix series, Never Have I Ever and Atypical, while the anime One Piece closes the podium.

Completing the list are Modern Family (fifth), Grey’s Anatomy (sixth), Virgin River (seventh), The Good Doctor (eighth) and Friends (ninth).
