The streaming platform announced the start of production for El inocente, a new original series to be developed in Spain.

Originally announced in April of this year, El inocente, Netflix’s new Spanish original series, is starting to take shape with its main cast and production date now confirmed.

The platform announced the new series, created by Oriol Paulo and written by Oriol Paulo, Jordi Vallejo and Guillem Clua, will star Mario Casas, Aura Garrido and Alexandra Jiménez.

Filming for its eight episodes is set to start on November 22.

El inocente is co-produced by Sospecha Films and Think Studio, and is the adaptation of Harlan Coben’s bestseller.

Oriol Paulo, Sandra Hermida, Jesús de la Vega, Eneko Lizarraga and Belén Atienza, are the executive producers of the thriller, with Laura Rubirola as delegate producer for the project.

Synopsis
